We are looking for an experienced backend engineer who is passionate about building and delivering reliable, scalable microservices and infrastructure for SaaS products. As Senior Software Engineer, you will be integral in building and supporting this SaaS product.We offer a competitive salary, great benefits, and excellent work-life balance with plenty of opportunities to learn, grow, and innovate.This is a Pune, India based role. We work in a hybrid model in office 2-3 days a week. You will be part of a global team working closely with engineers in the US. Must be willing to work at least 4 overlapping hours with US time zone.Responsibilities

• Deliver efficient, maintainable, robust Java based microservices.
• Produce designs and rough estimates, and implement features based on product requirements.
• Provide technical guidance for peers and help shape team initiatives.
• Collaborate with peers on designs, code reviews, and testing.
• Produce unit and end-to-end tests to improve code quality and maximize code coverage for new and existing features.
• Share support of critical team systems by participating in on-call rotations.Requirements
  • 5+ years of overall professional software development experience.
  • 5+ years of experience developing software in Java and design.
  • Experience working with one or more from the following: Cloud/AWS, IAM/IGA, Compliance, Security and Privacy.
  • Experience with SQL, large scale databases, and related technologies, such as DynamoDB, Aurora, Postgres, MySQL, and Hibernate or other ORM technologies.
  • Experience with messaging, queues, and events, such as Redis and Kafka.
  • Comprehensive experience with object-oriented analysis and design skills.
  • A positive and collaborative demeanor.
  • BS in Computer Science, or a related field.Nice to have:
    • Experience with the Go programming language.
    • Experience with AWS environments and products.
