We're looking for a Part-time hygienist to join our growing team. The days available are Mondays, Fridays, and one Saturday a month! You'll complete initial patient screenings, conduct dental cleanings, and assist dentists with examinations and procedures. Responsibilities:

--- Put patients at ease by talking with them before, during, and after the appointment
--- Record any changes to the patient's health history and document the ongoings of each appointment
--- Work with dentists to decide the best form of treatment for a variety of dental disease
--- Disinfect all dental instruments to ensure cross-contamination does not occur
--- Check for issues such as gingivitis, periodontitis, or caries so patients can receive care as soon as the problem is identified
--- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning teeth, taking x-rays, and applying fluoride treatments
--- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide recommendations for at-home care
--- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
--- Follow all HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality and privacy
--- Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive care to patients

Qualifications:

--- Possesses a state license to practice dental hygiene
--- Superb customer service and communication skills
--- Certified to perform CPR
--- 1-2 years of work experience as a dental hygienist
